I'm going to toot my own horn here and say Cordell Joshua has been an underrated presence on the Chicago Coyotes this season. There's no getting past it, the Coyotes have been trash this season, being sub par in literally every aspect of the game. Their offense can't score for shit, their defense seems to get scored on at will and the team has found itself in a serious rut that they show no sign of getting out of. The seemingly only bright light on the team this season has been Joshua, a defensive end rookie who has managed to exceed expectations and establish himself as a serious pass rush threat who gives offensive lineman something to think about. Joshua leads the league in tackles for loss, racking up a mighty 11 so far, along with a handful of sacks and one of the best tackle numbers for a defensive end in the DSFL. Chicago have really been a bad team this season, there's no other way to think about it, and Joshua as their star player has had little to work with around him, but he's hopeful that perhaps his events can inspire something in the Coyotes as the season gets into its second half.
