Regression, How would you do it?

We've been talking about this in an HO thread - just figured I should comment in here too. I agree with SwagSloth about ONLY the first DSFL season not counting to regression. Otherwise you can have a dude just sit in DSFL for four seasons and come out as a total monster.

I also like the idea of a harsh regression scale - but I'm not sure if this is too harsh

You're looking at it backwards. Stop looking at the scale and start thinking about the seasons. At what point do you think a player should stop being an asset and start being a liability to his team? I designed this around 10 or 11 seasons max for a player's career and built an appropriate system around that. Much softer and it instantly adds 2 more seasons onto a career.

The scale looks really brutal without actually analyzing it but when you consider that for a LB like me I can play at a pro-bowl level with only 300 TPE it's not bad at all.
