The award voting will be conducted soon and you'll probably see a glaring omission from one of the awards. Bayley should be given the GM of the year award for what he has been able to do in keeping the Sabercats healthy going forward. Unlike the Arizona GM who had steroid users on his squad and signed the leagues second best receiver last year, Bayley has done a commendable job. The Outlaws might have a better record right now but at the same time they probably have some cheaters somewhere on their roster. Bayley has led his team to a 7-5 roster in a conference marred by steroid use and that in itself is a huge accomplishment. His biggest competition will probably be the Orange County GM because he himself has also led a team without steroid users to a above .500 record in a conference with the Outlaws. While we are at it with this award, they should strip the Outlaws GM of any past GM awards for his knowing inclusion in the scandal this past off-season. I'm hoping the award committee take a long hard look at who they are handing awards out too and see if there is a scandal in behind the scenes.
