The turning point for the Kansas City Coyotes wasn’t necessarily a great win or a heroic individual play (Not surprising given that the Coyotes only managed to come out the better three times in their first 12 games) , in fact it was anything but. The red hot Palm Beach Solar Bears welcomed the Coyotes to South Florida and proceeded to thrash them by a score of 47-14 in week 7. While this seemed to put the cap on a less than excellent season for Kansas City and their draft class it also opened up the opportunity for new blood to enter the management group in the form of new Co-GM Vlad Rostov several weeks later. This change in management combined with the valiant efforts of remaining KCC GM 124715 helped the Coyotes kick their rebuild into gear a few games earlier than expected, winning their first road game of the year in week 13 and generally playing a much more respectable brand of football towards the end of the season.
