Written: Must Include 150 Words. The season is coming to a close and as such it's time to do some reflecting on the season. Simply write about a season making, or breaking, event that your player/team had experienced.
The season breaking game for the Liberty has to be when they lost to the Hawks in Baltimore 24-20. After taking game 1 of the series, the Liberty were looking to sweep the Hawks and put some distance between the two teams, however in the 4th quarter the Liberty allowed the Hawks to complete the comeback and win the game. Having been unable to score and stop the Hawks in their 4th quarter winning drive, the Liberty were now looking at a key tiebreaker lost should the they tie at the end of the season. Had they won this game a tie would have never been an issue, as the Hawks would have been 1 game behind the Liberty at the end of the season. By having this crucial loss, the Liberty were put in a spot where they needed to get 1 more win than the Hawks, as the Liberty were 5-5 after this game, and the Hawks were 6-4. The Liberty couldn’t rely on a tie either, as the Hawks were 3-2 in the conference at the time, while the liberty were 2-3. They needed the Yeti to upset the Hawks, and that wasn’t likely to happen 2 seasons in a row. They were in a bad situation, and that game turned the tide from their favor to the Hawks favor.
