(S6) - PT1 - Draft Day Fever

Ah yes, I could remember S1 draft night like it was nine months ago, which it was. It was a hot spring night and I was a new member who didn't know what the hell he was doing. It seemed like a pretty cool league and I always liked to kill time simming franchise seasons on madden. I didn't do any press conference or anything other than the activity check and free training. I was only contacted by one team prior to the draft and it turned out that wasn't even the one that drafted me. I didn't really know how to make myself known. But I did drop a hint to anyone who was paying attention: http://nsfl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=...findpost&p=5783 Due to the lack of attention I got as a prospect I was pretty sure I would get drafted late. I remember watching the stream for the first few rounds and then went and watched some TV. A little later I got a notification email and saw I had been drafted by the Hawks in round 10. My ego was a bit bruised but was extra motivated to become a good player. I'll spend my entire career with the Hawks as a thanks for their former GMs giving me a chance. (209)
