Borkus Maximus III remembers fondly the day he was drafted by New Orleans. It was pretty uneventful, to be honest. You see, he knew he was going in the second round, and he knew it would be to New Orleans. There wasn't much excitement in knowing exactly where you're going to be drafted, it turns out. Nonetheless, Borkus was very excited to get started in the NSFL. His DSFL career was extremely disappointing, to put it lightly. He came onto the scene as a top DSFL prospect, and the consensus 1st overall pick in the DSFL draft, but his play just didn't live up to expectations. He was actually pretty terrible. Kind of embarrassing. Borkus looks forward to proving his multitude of h8rs wrong and he shows that the DSFL was "totally just a phase, mom" and that New Orleans has nothing to worry about with regards to his play. He was excited at hearing his name called, knowing that the team had faith in him as he would be replacing the veteran journeyman Noble at starting QB. And really, that's all Borkus needed: A team that believed in him and would invest in him for their future. The future is looking bright in New Orleans.
