Jayce Tuck was drafted by the Arizona Outlaws in the season one draft with the last pick of the third round. Jayce hardly remembers the events that followed the draft because he was in Romania working with their clandestine intelligence organization to take out the baby seal population of the Black Sea.
Now you’re probably asking yourself, why was Romania set on killing baby seals, and how was Jayce Tuck involved. Well, the answer is twofold. Many Ukrainians rely on the seal population for sustenance and Jayce jumped at the opportunity to rob these people of their primary means of survival. To prospect of clubbing fluffy, helpless baby seals was just icing on the cake for Jayce.
Unfortunately for Jayce it was during the draft and his time in Romania that an infamous Russian computer hacker by the name of Pat Pancake gained an interest in him that would set off a series of events that would rock the National Simulation Football League down the line.
Tuck returned from his seal clubbing a hero and though he did not receive the hero’s welcome he so obviously deserved, Jayce made sure to insist on telling everyone he was a battle hardened veteran that had served in combat, particularly when he believed he could get a free beer or first-class flight upgrade out of the deal. Which included his flight to Arizona to join the Outlaws.
