Hey, everyone. Thanks for coming out to our media availability. First off, I'd like to start with just talking about how the season is going, both as a team and individually. I'm sure that will answer most of the questions you have anyway.
As a team, I think we've had a good first half to the season. We're 6-4 right now and in a playoff spot so that's good. A couple of our losses could of been wins if we just cleaned up a bit of our play. Consistency hasn't quite been there yet, but we're a young group which explains that. We're getting better and better every game and come playoff time, I'm sure we'll be gelled enough to make a serious run at the championship.
As for my individual performance, I'm happy with it. In my first game, I got the record for most catches in a DSFL game with 10. It was a great way to get myself introduced into the league. I've held steady the rest of the way with a lot of catches, 61, and a lot of yards, 824. I'm appreciative of my coaches for game planning to get me involved and for my quarterbacks for trusting me to catch the ball whenever they throw it to me. I wouldn't be finding success if it wasn't for them. The only disappointing thing for me so far is lack of touchdowns. I've only gotten 2 on the season so I need to do a better job of getting into the end zone.
We've got 6 games left and I'm very excited to continue this season and watch our team get better and better. The Luchadores are fighting and we're going to be a tough out for any team that comes our way.
