If the NSFL were to suddenly close its doors and shut down for good there would be a lot of very good football players who would be out of a job. For many of them though it shouldn’t be too big of an issue. A large portion could easily find continued work as a professional in another league. An even larger portion of them have a college education that would provide them a skill to leverage in the business world. For Damien Arnold his years spent at the University of Michigan left him with a degree in engineering that should leave him with no trouble finding work. Arnold says he continues to study on his free time now, and that his plan would be to find work as an engineer after he retires from football. So if his plan is already to go on to use his degree, then you can assume if the NSFL up and shut their doors Damien Arnold would be just fine.
