I've been part of the League ever since season 1. I've seen all the crap that happened: the Noble TPE saga, the Outlaws multis, the Legion mass retirement. It even seems like this kind of stuff is following me around, since I was on the Yeti when Noble cheated, I won an Ultimus with all the Outlaws clones and I was part of the Legion mass retirement, even if that didn't officially work for whatever reason. From what I read around the forums, people pretty much ridicule that event, like it was a dumbass thing to do. I guess it seems that way. But for me, it was just a way to show how sick I was of all the bullshit happening on the league. It wasn't my first sim league and I've dealt with my load of crap but to see so much cheating and so much drama every time I logged in really made it difficult for me to stay invested. I saw my retirement and the one of my fellow Legion players as a way to force the league into seeing that it was really going in the wrong direction, and to take action to correct that. I have no clue if it succeeded but coming back now after many seasons of inactivity, the toxicity that was at the very core of the league when I left seems to be gone for the most part.
