Xandra’s border collie, Nax, has been one of the two most influential pets in her life. But, as Nax is still with Xandra and still a teenage doggo, you will likely hear more about him as Xandra’s career continues. So, today she will share about her other influential pet, a hermit crab named Grape. She purchased Grape with her best friend at a boardwalk when they were teens. Her best friend also bought a hermit crab, Peanut, and Grape and Peanut were destined to be best friends like their owners. Their names were also reflective of their shell colors - if you've ever been to a boardwalk, you know their shells are painted all different colors and with all different patterns. Grape’s shell was a nice lavender color, matte finish, and your classic rounded snail shell. Peanut had a periwinkle-type shell that was shades of beige. Grape and Peanut would race each other around, and Xandra and her best friend would have great afternoons playing with them in between DDR sessions.
