Damien Arnold met his dog Arthur when he was walking home from high school one day. He heard some rustling in a box in an alley behind his school, and when he went to investigate, he found a puppy. Damien tucked him into his backpack and rushed home to show his parents. He picked the name Arthur because that’s what the box he found him in had written on it. For now Damien had to leave him behind with his parents in Michigan, but he says he plans to move Arthur when he gets settled with his NSFL team.
“He’s just too used to having space to run around,” Arnold said. “I’m living in an apartment right now, and he would just go stir-crazy being cooped up.”
After speaking with his parents though, it seems he might have a little trouble getting them to let Arthur go. They say it’s very obvious how much Arthur misses Damien though, and are sure he cannot wait for the DSFL season to end so he can see him again.
