This seems to be a step back from your previous work.I like the idea you used to blend the light source with the background. I feel that the background is just to plain. It really could benefit from some texture layers and blending.

Well done with the background on this one, I can see the effort you put in to get the effect. Lighting needs to be toned down and made to look more natural. The render is very poorly placed ( dont trade me ) it needs to bee to one side or the other, or larger by quiet a bit. Theres a rule of thirds, the best placement of a render usaly is in the left or right third of the signature.

What's funny about sig 2 is it's not a render that I placed in there... with my skill level or lack there of lol, it's a straight photo which I doctored to blur the background around him and bring davis to the forefront with a little effect lol.
