(S9) - PT 5 - Revisiting Expectations

Well apparently I missed the Expectations PT but, I definitely would have had high expectations for us as a squad and myself personally.

I really was expecting the Wraiths to make the playoffs. That ship has sailed, sailed so far away I can't even see it anymore. In fact it probably sunk. Losing to the Outlaws and Liberty were really what killed us. I expected to split with the Yeti and Otters, steal one or two wins from NOLA and BAL. Which is what happened actually and we would have made it in if we didn't split with Liberty and Outlaws. Pretty sad. Our team isn't even that bad, fourth best defense in points against, middle of the road 3rd down conversion percentage against. Our offense was also fourth best in points for, the best 3rd down conversion rate, and best rushing attack in the league, with not too many turnovers. Somehow we just suck.
Prediction: 7/10 squad Reality: 5/10 squad

I was expecting myself to have a decent year, with the rush slider bumped up I might be able to run the ball a little better and stay my accurate, risk averse self in the passing game. Nope. I wasn't terrible by any stretch but was definitely a bottom half passer in the league. 18/12 TD/INT is pretty bad and not even 4000 yards, barely 3000. I was an ok rusher with 562 yards and 6.4 ypc. Only two touchdowns is sad though. Still I had a long run and generally was a strong runner.
Prediction: 8/10 player Reality: 6/10 player

So all in all I missed expectations.
