My expectations for the season were to try and get eight interceptions on the season so that I could have the record. It seemed like it was going to be a long shot to achieve that when the final two weeks came along. I had just four interceptions, (one returned for a touchdown) and I had to get four interceptions in order to tie the new record. Now I knew I was confident in my skills but I was not that confident that I would get those final four interceptions that I needed. I managed to get one interception during the first game and after that I was like "There is no way I can get three in the next game." Well I was wrong about that. I managed to grab those last three interceptions in that final game of the season and two of those went back for six points. I was completely shocked to learn that I had gotten those three remaining picks all in one game. I knew coming into the season I needed to get like 1 interception every two games. I thought it would have been easily achievable as I had been putting in the work consistently and I am just glad that all of my hard work paid off.
