This season basically played out like I had expected, since we did in fact end up as the worst team in the league with a few bright spots. The offense and defense were predictably terrible, but not as atrocious as they appear on paper. Legion, Riddick, and a Weston deep in regression put up some decent yardage. It's especially curious that Riddick and Legion did well since they both are below 130 TPE each. Rookie Zapp Brannigan was solid as well and is without question the team's future at tight end. Ben Horne was the defensive rock we thought he would be although the general weakness of the defense made sure that inactive players stole his tackles. Beating the Otters was a decently entertaining high point in the season even if it put us in jeopardy of losing the 1st overall selection in the S10 draft. Where the season starts to seem like a failure to me is that I understand the team lacked decent receiving talent, Brad never took a step forward in the right direction. There wasn't a clear difference between the rookie in S8 and the guy stepping on the field at the end of the season. That's a disappointment despite being forecast at the start of the season.
