When Kazimir was younger he was put into some less than desirable situations. Most of the time it was just some dumb situation that only kids could get into, making a stupid mistake or doing something you shouldn’t be doing. However, when he was 14 he had the opportunity to invest in some new big project a friend’s father was starting. Of course, anyone who was sane would have realized that you don’t typically reach out to children for money to start up some project, but this dude was no ordinary man. The shady father of a friend was going to everyone in the neighborhood, promising an invention so life changing that everyone would make a profit, no matter how much money was put in. Of course, not having access to much money the most Kazimir could invest was 20 dollars, which isn’t a huge amount, but it became clear that that money would never be seen again. The friend’s father was arrested shortly after due to involvement in a drug ring, among multiple other charges. It may have only been 20 bucks, but it was a lot to a kid, and it taught Kazimir a valuable lesson in trusting others. (201 words)
