As Jamal Slick’s senior year of college is winding down, he has begun to explore his options for the next level of the game. The highly touted QB out of Worcester, MA is the next big thing to come out of the northeast region. When the season began, Slick had the goal of getting the attention of football scouts on the next level. He had performed well during his first three seasons of college ball and for his senior year decided to put himself out there for every professional league in hopes that someone would bite. This is exactly what happened, and it allowed Slick’s goal to find a way into fruition. As the season progressed, the chatter got louder and louder and speculation grew as to what his next step was going to be. Would Slick opt to try and join the NFL, XFL, CFL, EFL, or NSFL? It seemed as if Slick’s mind was made up. He would be leaving Boston College for the NFL and become the next great BC QB following Doug Flutie and Matt Ryan. However, in the 11th hour, agent Johnny Blaze reached out to Slick. Hours later the news was announced: Slick had declared for the DSFL and would be NSFL bound. His goals had become reality.
