And I thought joining the DSFL was a big step. Now I have been drafted, there are more new faces, more expectations, more things to learn. Everyday seems to have something new to add to my list of things to accomplish. Being drafted with Damien Arnold was a blessing and a curse. In one sense its nice to not be the only new kid. On the other it has created a great rivalry. I cant say it’s a bad thing because it will be a great motivational tool. We may play different styles of the same position, but I know I cant stand playing 2nd fiddle.
There is going to be some adjustment, and I may still be playing for the Luchadores next season, but all paths end up in Baltimore. Having talked to the management there I understand their goals and desires, and they understand mine. Right now, everything is just about growth. I need to figure out where I fit into the puzzle and where I can bring my skills in to help both the Luchadores now, and the Hawks soon. Its really exciting to be here, in this place. Change is a great catalyst. Lets see how this wild ride ends up.
