Season 10 marks a new chapter in my NSFL career. After 2 seasons in Tijuana, marked with back to back Ultimini Championships, I'm ready for the big call up to the big leagues. I'd accomplished everything I set out to in my time in the DSFL and I feel like I'm ready for the big show. When I got the call from my GM to pack up my things and move to San Jose, I was elated. I said my goodbyes to all the amazing people with the Luchadores and headed towards my new challenge.
Once I stepped into my new locker room with my fellow SaberCats, the nerves slowly went away. So far I've hit it off with a few of my new teammates. One of them is newly drafted receiver Kazimir Oles. We're both going into our rookie seasons and are both the main weapons for new quarterback Mat Akselsen. Playing the same position has really made us connect and I know we're going to be in sync on the field. Another player I was happy to connect with again was our tight end Zapp Brannigan. We were teammates in Tijuana back in Season 8 and won a championship together. It was really nice to re-connect and share the field and a locker room again. There's a whole bunch of awesome guys in the locker room in San Jose and I can't wait to hit the field with all of them and help bring the SaberCats back to glory.
