Gus and his best friend, Shawn, have always been big fans of "Shout" by Tears for Fears. The friends even performed their own rendition of it for hit TV show American Duos while working a case for their psychic detective agency.
To keep limber and agile, Showbiz is also an avid tap-dancer. He can be spotted sometimes in an empty office playing some tap music and practicing as part of his pre-game ritual.
During several of their cases, Gus and Shawn have happened across Curt Smith of Tears for Fears. Showbiz and Curt hit it off, and Gus managed to convince Smith to record a couple solo albums for Gus's collection. These albums are some of Gus's most cherished possessions, and he can often be seen jamming to the calming words of Curt Smith.
