A memorable experience for Cordell Joshua? It has to be the first competitive game of football he played way back in his pee wee days. It seems hard to believe now but Cordell wasn't the biggest kid and had always been one of the smaller guys in his school, which meant he had doubted he'd be able to take part in the sport he loved to watch so much. One day, a friend falling ill made Cordell take the opportunity to play a game and so, he lined up as a wide receiver to play alongside his friends. It's strange to think of Cordell playing on offense now, but that's where his journey began. Anyway, with everything on the line in the last play of the game, the classic moment happened where the quarterback put a deep pass up that Cordell caught and secured the game with a touchdown. It was an amazing moment for the young man and one that really secured his status as someone who dreamed of doing nothing but playing football. A truly wounderois moment, it helped build his character and set him on the road to playing in the NSFL, and had that friend not gotten sick, who knows what might've happened with his life.
