A life changing event for me happened when I first went off to college. Being able to easily dominate high school kids can give any young player a big head and ego. After being able to just set state records in Florida I truly believed I was untouchable, I still do but that's because I've earned it, but I digress. Heading off to Florida State my freshman year I was on top of the world. Full ride scholarship, all the records and press following me, and a chance to play on the national stage for my favorite team. It became real humbling quickly when I got there and realized that these kids all deserve to be there. Playing against these kids and learning how difficult the road to being the best is. That you can never give up and have to continue fighting and striving for what you want your entire career. My first game there I ran for 8 yards on 9 carries. 8 damn yards. That hit me so hard that I've never stopped training and working for it since. Everyday I get up and go to work to make sure I will be the best RB in the league.
