For Carlito Crush, the most memorable thing for him wasn’t too long ago. I’ll never forget the magic that was my record setting season in Season 9. I’ve said it before, I’ve worked very hard to be considered a good player. I was a former #1 overall draft pick, and so many people considered me a bit of a bust. Leaving Colorado, and becoming an Otter has led me to what transpired last season. 12 of my 14 games were over 100 yards. I had 100 receptions. I had 1532 total yards. And I scored a record setting 17 receiving touchdowns in one season, a feat that I’m incredibly proud of. But that wasn’t all! Sure, we lost in the playoffs, and that was a bummer, but then the award ceremonies came to fruition. I knew I’d be a lock to win Best Wide Receiver, but even then it was still a lovely moment. All of a sudden there was some buzz that I may end up being the league’s MVP as well. I didn’t believe it, to be honest. We had a lot of players with some awesome seasons, you know? Once my name was called, and I was awarded the MVP, I couldn’t believe it. I had been working so very hard to get to this point. From Portland, to Colorado, to Orange County, to switching positions, every trial and tribulation, brought me to that perfect moment. Words still can’t describe how amazing that memory was. (248)
