Quote:Written: Must include 200 words. As the end of the season nears we see some interesting matchups between players who have been key contributors playing their old team one last time. Write about one of these matchups and how it went, was there a pregame celebration, did the player perform well against their former team, write about anything that happened.
We are going to go back to week 7 which featured one of the hottest match ups of this season. The Baltimore Hawks, who are favored to win the NSFC, traveled to New Orleans to take on the New Orleans Second Line, who are favored to win the ASFC.
This match up featured Baltimore facing off against their old WR Alexandre LeClair. Who moved to New Orleans after last season in which Baltimore lost against the Second Line in the Cup finals.
In a comfortable 38 - 12 win for the Second Line, we saw LeClair having 5 receptions, with which he ran for 105 yards, with 37 yards being his longest and saw him score one touch down to put the Second Line up ahead again after being down 7-9.
Due to the very competetive nature of this game likely being a huge part deciding who has home field advantage running all the way through the season 10 playoffs and ofcourse the cup final of last season, there was a lot of tention between the two teams.
LeClair and the baltimore team did take a moment to get together and catch up and reminisce about the old times. They ended with a group picture and then headed back to the warming up.
Week 14 will feature the second game between these two in Baltimore. Which is expected to be a high stakes game.
