The Week 13 game between the Yellowknife Wraiths and the Colorado Yeti was a big game for several reasons. It would determine who would get the second playoff spot in the NSFC and it was also the last trip that Boss Tweed would make to Colorado. Before joining the Wraiths, Tweed played his first 6 seasons in Colorado with the Yeti and was inducted into the team's Ring of Honor following the trade that sent him to Yellowknife. It was a bittersweet moment as the fans were excited to be able to cheer for Tweed one last time but also had to root against him as they would be fighting against him for a playoff spot. It was an exciting game that ended with the Yeti winning 34-27. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great individual sendoff for Tweed as he had one of his worst games since becoming a linebacker as he recorded just 2 tackles though he also had 2 pass deflections. In a game where the Wraiths surrendered 34 points, a stronger performance from Tweed could have made the difference by giving the Wraiths' defense a little boost. This loss would ultimately end the Wraiths' playoff hopes and prevent Tweed from making one last playoff run. However, he did get a more fitting individual send off the following week in his final NSFL game. Tweed went up against a former teammate, disgraced ex-Yeti quarterback Logan Noble, and would record 9 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception as he was named defensive player of the game in his final career game. Overall, Tweed's last trip to Colorado was an exciting game even though he didn't live up to the hype individually.
