As standard procedure by Jon Gruden (Pythons GM/HC), various pranks are pulled out. One is the "moving locker prank". Jon Gruden watches the office religiously, and had to pull out the "Lost desk" prank. After he got the rooks settled into their new lockers, he (very randomly, mind you) picked a little slip of paper out of a hat with a name on it. This name happened to be Charlie Trout, one of the more serious draftees of the team. So that night, he ordered the custodian to remove all of Trout's belongings in his locker, move the rest of the lockers one over, and put Mr. Trout's locker in the shower.
The next morning, as Mr. Trout arrived in the facilities for practice and team building, everyone showed up early, as part of an "urgent issue" that needed to be addressed that morning. The rest of the team was let in on the prank, and when Trout showed up and couldn't find his locker, there was lots of feigned concern from the rest of the team. Gruden directed Trout to his locker in the shower, and Trout had to get his equipment and move his locker with the help of longtime Pythons lineman Sable Runestad. As Trout was late to practice, standard procedure dictated that he would have to run suicides for the first 10 minutes of practice.
