It's an interesting question. I suppose to an extent yes I do feel a limited amount of pressure to live up to the success of my fathers (plural) but also I know they support me. Genetically I think I am predisposed to both team and individual success. Through Father Checkers I get my genes that allow me to win largely pointless personal awards, as you mention, such as Offensive Player of the Year or Most Valuable Player. Through my father CA Chess I am given the ability to succeed with my team, as he assembled some of the most successful teams as a General Manager of the Arizona Outlaws. Granted, it turns out the Outlaws were cheating and those championships come with an asterisk but in the same regard it is a true championship pedigree.
Going forward I look to make a name for myself while honoring the legacies of my fathers who are now both retired.... wait, I forgot -- Checkers hasn't retired yet. But still.
