There's a lot of talent in the NSFL, and predicting which player will break out is somewhat a science. There's obvious indicators, like conditioning, being on a franchise where a player is filling the shoes of a retired star and history of that player. There are a few players who can definitely fit this billing. But I think the next breakout star is none other than Kazimir Oles.
Oles is a top tier threat at Wide Receiver. He played his rookie season last year on a weak San Jose team with an old Mat Akselsen at the helm. since then they've moved on from Akselsen and brought it a new QB, Joliet Christ, who was a great QB in the DSFL. Oles has a phenomenal training regimen, and earns a high rate of TPE. Shane Weston, the long time number one receiver in San Jose is now a 3rd or 4th option. Oles and fellow young WR, Xavier Flash are going to be a solid 1-2 punch for Christ for many years if they keep this team in tact. Last season, Flash outplayed Oles when it came to yards. Flash got 1127 yards compared to Oles 868. But Oles got more scores than Flash did, 8 to 4. This was as a rookie, while Flash was already in the league for a season. Now that Oles is in his second season, he's already accrued a higher TPE than Flash and as the season progresses, Oles will beat out Flash as the primary target for Christ, relegating Flash to #2 status. I would not be shocked if Oles finishes the season as the Sabercats top WR, and Oles cracks the top 5 overall. I'm guessing 1300 yards and 8 TDs.
