Completely unbiased opinions incoming, I swear. If you had asked me this last season, I'd have picked my teammate, wide receiver Viggo Squanch, and I would have been right because he went on to win last season's Breakout Player award. But this season I'm going to go with another receiving threat from Arizona: Balthazar Crindy. This guy has been a middle to bottom of the pack tight end in terms of receiving so far his entire career since being drafted in Season 8 but he's finally managed to put it all together in a perfect storm of breakout-ness. In his rookie year he wasn't talented enough for veteran QB Bronko to carry him, and the past 2 years he's been stuck with the incredibly promising but still young Kevin Fitzpatrick. This year he's managed to develop the skills needed to be a great receiving tight end while having a vastly improved offense around him altogether and a quarterback that might be ready to make the jump to show what he can really do. With Crindy finally developing the combination of hands, speed, strength, and quickness that strikes fear into the hearts of any linebacker or safety that needs to man cover him, don't be surprised to see this guy get some votes for Tight End of the Year when the season is all said and done.
