Jerrod Canton for the Sabercats is the next star in this league. Not only is he a stud all on his own, but he's in the perfect environment to succeed, the same place his predecessor played, a team desperate for a star RB. Coming out of a dominant season for the Kansas City Coyotes in the DSFL, Canton immediately made his debut with the San Jose Sabercats. He made his case as a dominant RB in the DSFL with over 1600 yards as a rookie, the most in the league, and fell to 18th overall in the NSFL draft. Despite that slide, he's shown up and proved that he's the next big name in the league, with already 460 yards in the NSFL, 2nd most in the league. Not only has he proved in the DSFL, as a rookie, that he can be a star, he's also already proving, again, as a rookie, that he is and will be a star at the NSFL level. There may have been doubters at the draft, but there should be no doubters now. He's surpassed 100 yards in each of his 4 NSFL games, reaching 138 yards in week 2. Everything you want to get out of your RB, especially one so young, he's delivered on.
