A lot of people have a collection of some sort and I am no different. Being a pro athlete you'd think maybe I wouldn't have time for collecting, but I've been doing it since I was a kid so it's stuck with me. What I collect is Pokémon cards.
I don't collect the newer version of cards. I collect the original 151 Pokémon. As a kid, I would be the big packages and supplant that with the booster packs. Hologram cards were cool, but the main thing was to complete the Pokédex. All these years later and I'm still missing some the original Pokémon. I keep all my cards in a binder with plastic card sheets to protect the cards. I have some special cards, like a Mew card that you got when you went to watch Pokémon the First Movie in theatres. As kids, we all thought these would be worth so much money in the future, but here we are in the future and that didn't really come true. Still though, I love my collection of Pokémon cards and am still working to complete the collection of the original 151 Pokémon. Once that day comes, it will be a sweet culmination of years and years of collecting.
