Jaylon Broxton isn't really into Halloween as much as many are. For adults it becomes something of a party night, but being that Broxton isn't much of a party-goer, it's not a great match. Occasionally he'll show face at a party at one of his teammates' homes. Far more frequently, however, he spends the night like most other nights, studying film and preparing for Orange County's next game on the schedule. A lot of this stems from a party the team had a while back, which was cocaine themed and resulted in the team's backup quarterback, Colt McCoy, showing up to a strangers house uninvited and mumbling unintelligibly. McCoy retired from the NSFL shortly thereafter. Broxton isn't a complete scrooge about the day, however. He spends quite a bit of time and money on each year's costume, wearing it when he shows up to the stadium in for whichever game is closest to the holiday, and wearing it to hand out candy to the trick or treaters who show up in his neighborhood. He'll set up on his front porch with his laptop open so he can work in his downtime. Although he doesn't do much else to celebrate the holiday, one thing Broxton looks forward to is taking his own kiddo around to celebrate some day.
