Let's talk a little about one of the week three match-ups, and how it was an incredibly surprising outcome. I'm of course speaking of how the Yellowknife Wraiths topped the New Orleans Second Line by a score of 41-31. The fact that the vaunted Second Line defense even gave up forty one is surprising enough. This may be where Fyodorovich switching from wide receiver to corner hurts your football team. Yes, he'd done great as a play-maker on offense, but you undoubtedly miss his play-making on defense. Next, throw in the fact that close to consensus number one quarterback in the league, Borkus Maximus III, threw three interceptions in this game. Considering that he is currently averaging just one interception per game, that is quite an uptick in turnovers. Meanwhile, Bork's opposite number, Brad Pennington, had a great game. He may have thrown for less than two hundred yards, but his three passing touchdowns and no interceptions really helped Yellowknife wrap this game up. Obviously, any part time football fan can tell you that if you turn the ball over and your defense doesn't play well, you're probably going to lose. I just seems unlikely that the currently 4-9 Wraiths could have put together a good enough game to beat the 10-3 Second Line.
