There were a few surprising outcomes but one that comes to mind is the Otters ability to maintain second place in the ASFC. This year like most (other than the Championship Wins/Losses) the Otters have found themselves in second place in the ASFC. They have been there for 7 out of the 11 seasons. The only other place they found themselves was in first place. That is an extraordinary feat and I for one figured that their time would come eventually. The regression took place for the Otters but none of the other teams in the division decided to make the most of it other than New Orleans Second Line. Since moving to second place in Season 9 they have stood their ground and now look to make more of an impact now that their QB Gus T.T. Showbiz is making strides. They ranked second not only in their conference but in the entire league as well. The 10-4 record is great but not great enough. Their defense is start to look old and age but that seems to be their primary concern in the upcoming draft. Will they take their spot up top or will they maintain a level just above mediocrity. Only time will tell.
