Written: Must include 200 words. As the season comes to a close there were some surprising outcomes during the season that shocked the league. Write about one such outcome.
One of the most suprising outcomes or least suprising outcomes depending on who you root for in the NSFL was the Yellowknife Wraiths pathetic 4-10 regular season record as the S11 season comes to an end. Yellowknife started with much promise and every single season since their inception way back in S1, they've been met with critics and naysayers predicting that this was the season they finally suck and hey it took eleven whole seasons and we've finally just had our first ever losing season. Yellowknife looked poor on the field in all aspects of the game from their poor production offensively through an anaemic receiving core featuring an incredibly old Bailey Cook playing out his final season, nothing more than a retirement tour to be honest. Pennington look mediocre at best at the QB role and posted decent numbers, nothing to write home about. Parker went up and above expectations and already established themself as a leader of the offense, alongside Carrassco and Summer who held down the RB role and split snaps, the former is apparently being thrown out in trade negotations as the Wraiths look for a more permanent option at QB, with Pennington not having the production desired and both QB's in the pipeline (Wozy and Metaxas) said to be perennial developers but never starters.
But really who knows how many more dissapointments we will see in the future of the Wraiths.
