2. Robbed: Write about why a team that failed to make the playoffs should have over somebody else.
Well, if you've read anything I've written, you know I'm a homer. But honestly, the fact that the Yellowknife Wraiths didn't make the playoffs is bogus. The fact that they were the second worst team in the league is even worse. We've seen it before with a Pennington at the helm of a team, but Brad Pennington really faltered late. The Wraiths have one of the best defences in the league, an adequate running back, some exciting young receivers. The one glaring hole is the quarterback play. Now Brad isn't even that bad. But his lack of improvement throughout the season is what hurt us. But look at the teams that made it in the NSFC. Baltimore is good, but the Yeti? Really? The Yeti? They are not a good team. A mediocre defense and and even worse quarterback, and yet the double the Yellowknife Wraiths win total. How does that happen? I'll tell you how. The fix is in against the Wraiths. We've been too good for too long. Now the league wants to handicap us at every point. They've kicked out all Yellowknife head office members, they've invoked the Brad Pennington Clause (where anyone named Brad Pennington must immediately start sucking), and they've repeatedly encouraged teams to not trade with us.

3. New Talent: Write about which S11 trade will or did have the biggest impact in the playoffs.
This one is recent so it may be cheating, but Ryan Applehort being traded to the Wraiths will have a huge impact on the playoffs. But not this season. Next season playoffs. Finally, the Wraiths have a quarterback again. It's a long time coming since the departure of Matt Akselsen. Ryan Applehort is the only real piece we had missing from making the Wraiths great again. Finally, we will have an offense to match our stingy defense. Now, giving up a piece like Antonio Summer is a tough one, as well as the second overall pick, but it is worth it. There's not a whole lot of room for improvement on the defence, and we have young piece all over the offence. We just need a leader. Expect the Wraiths back in the playoffs in S12, even if their defensive cornerstone Cameron Taylor has entered the final years of his career. In Applehort we trust. So while this trade will have no impact on this year's playoffs, it has changed the landscape of the NSFC for the next few season. Baltimore has been great at picking up some really good pieces moving forward, but Yellowknife needs a quarterback again. All of a sudden, we are in a winning mode again.

4. Playoff Series MVP: Choose an MVP for one of the playoff series and write about why you chose them.
It has to be Borkus Maximus III. Doesn't matter which game or series, the answer is Borkus Maximus III. The guy was on fire during the playoffs. But I'll write about the fianls, because it was the most important game. If you can't win the last game of the season, does it really matter how well the previous games went? Well, luckily, Borkus saved his best for last. 33/51 isn't that great, but when you look at the other stats, Borkus excelled. 400 yards and 4 TDs may be better than what Brad Pennington did all year for the Wraiths. Borkus was an animal. It would be easy to give it to Darren Smallwood as well. Going for 139 yards and a touchdown on the ground with another 20 yards and a touchdown receiving is pretty impressive. But for the most part, those stats are a result of the game management of Borkus Maximus III. Another standout probably could have been Fyodorovich, who caught 3 TDs, but again, was this success due to his dominance over a very good defence, or was it due to Borkus peppering the defence through the air all night. My thinking is that Borkus was too dominant for anyone to handle and that opened up holes for the other stars of the defence to succeed.
