Playoff Series MVP: Choose an MVP for one of the playoff series and write about why you chose them. Must be completed after the playoff series you write about
The Playoff MVP of the series between the Colorado Yeti and the Baltimore Hawks in the NSFC Championship game, without a doubt, has to be Owen Taylor the now retiring running back of multiple seasons. In the hugely important game, that analysts predicted would be a close battle between the young and upcoming Yeti, and the old and experienced Hawks, Owen Taylor put on an absolute clinic. Finishing the game with 1 touchdown and 188 yards on 30 carries for an average of 6.3 yards per carry, Owen Taylor along with the now departed Ryan Applehort were the two biggest reasons why the Hawks were able to absolutely blowout the Yeti, shocking many fans and experts. Had you asked now retired defensive end Arbin Asipi Jr though, you would've heard something else. "Yea we expected to destroy them. Ask anyone on the team, we knew we were a way better team, and had it been any closer than a 3 td blowout, we would've been disappointed with ourselves. Yea I knew Taylor would pop off, the Yeti will never be able to stop him." Big words from the 1 time champion, but 3 time runner up. The only other player you can even say had a tiny grasp of being MVP was Applehort, and he threw a pick.
Sit-down with a star:Interview a player from a team that is not your own that is in the playoffs. You must ask them four questions and at least three must relate to the league in some way. YOU MUST POST THE QUESTIONS AND THEIR ANSWERS FOR CREDIT. (Can be completed at any point)
Interview with @ADwyer87
1.) What was it like having to watch the team that drafted you go into the playoffs, but you weren't able to play?
It wasn't really a big deal to me. I asked to be kept down, and the pro club was more than happy to accommodate me. In the end, its always nice to get a good extra year in the DSFL for your career. Just look at Xavier Flash and Kazimir Oles last season, both were rookies, but Flash shined because of his extra year. I'm setting myself up for success, and in turn im setting the Otters up for success
2.) What was winning the Ultimini like?
Honestly it was a huge weight off my back. I feel like we should have won the Ultimini last year, and we just played a terrible game. Now we get a chance to redeem ourselves this season, and we have the best year any DSFL team has had so far. I'm very happy with the outcome and its been a long time coming.
3.) How did you celebrate winning the ultimini?
Why are you asking? I'm not telling a narc like you what i did, you'll snitch
4.) Do you believe you'll be one of the best NSFL WRs next season?
I think it will take a while, Otters are still using a three wideout rotation, lots of mouths to feed. But I can tell you for sure, once the GM wises up and puts me in that first spot on the depth chart, the Wide Receiver of the Year trophy aint gonna be leaving my hands for a LONG time
