It was an exciting off-season for young K.J. Becker who is going into his sophomore season with the Philadelphia Liberty. In his rookie season he exceeded expectations of the coaching staff but K.J. know there is another gear he has to hit to become one of the best linebackers in the league. Becker came into the league a blitzing pass rusher with exceptional speed. That still stands but he has done some work in all areas of his game and this off-season he tried to build on that. His pass coverage skills were very good for a linebacker and Becker is hoping he can be Philadelphia's Swiss army knife when they have him on the field. Becker is hoping to pass rush some more this year and his bull rush technique got a major upgrade with some added off-season strength workouts. The team looks good this year and they are steadily improving each week. They surprised many last season when they actually finished with a better record than people had anticipated. Becker is hoping the young defense can build on last season and he is also hoping he can get some sacks. For every sack Becker gets he donates $2000 to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
