I spent my off-season recharging the battery, so to speak. This last season didn't go exactly as planned for the team or myself. We struggled on the field and it affected us off the field as well. That's why I just took this off-season to reset myself. I went back home to Canada and spent my time with family and friends. I wanted to go back to my roots and just remember where I came from. It was a much needed refresher.
Going into training camp, I feel better than ever. I struggled last year, but this year I am ready to dominate. Our team has improved drastically and I'm expecting bigger and better things. My quarterback, Joliet Christ, has made huge strides and that's only going to help the team. My partner in crime at wideout, Oles, and I spent a lot of time working out with Christ just to get our timing down. We are starting to feel really comfortable with each other and I think we're going to breakout this season. We've got solid pieces on defense and I really believe it's our time to compete in the NSFL. Last season was rough, but that's behind us. The SaberCats are ready to make an impact on the field.
