Lavelle heads into his twelfth official offseason and to be honest, age is catching up with him. He's a shell of his former self and many believe this will be his final season in the NSFL. Regardless of his critics, Lavelle is still performing and preparing the same way he did eleven seasons prior all the way back in S1 when he entered as the leagues' first-ever waiver player.
Lavelle spends his offseason working out and putting himself through the paces in an attempt to get up to top-tier conditioning, especially as he heads into a real make or break season for the Yellowknife Wraiths.
Lavelle's career is a real fairytale story as he nears the end of it. It looks like S12 will be Lavelles last real season as a player with S13 looking to view him as a player/coach and onfield mentor for Wraiths newest draft picks. Right now Lavelle is playing for legacy and looking to extend all the records at the top of the career leaderboards before he sees his name in the highly coveted NSFL Hall of Fame.
S12 will really be a hot and cold season for Lavelle and more so the Yellowknife Wraiths as all eyes will be on them with this constantly changing roster.
