Going in this final season Angus Winchester didn't quite know what to expect. The Otters had begun firing on all cylinders once again and the team was looking similar to their past selves from the dynasty days. Angus being one of the oldest two players still on the field has seen a lot of football in his time and was excited to see what this squad would be able to put together in season 12. Given that he knew his age had slowed him down and that he was going to be difficult to pull off a dominant performance on the defensive line he did his best to focus on learning the playbook and watching tape on his opponents in order to try and win with his knowledge and experience in the game. Being surrounded by other top defensive players doesn't hurt either and the young faster guys will likely benefit from him as much as he does from them. Other than preparing for the regular season and his last shot at another championship title Angus tried to keep it casual this offseason and start to get the pieces in place for his retirement. He's preparing the farm to scale up a little bit now, getting some contracts in place, repairing some equipment, etc.
