Jordan von Matt spend a lot of time with family and friends over the off season. After a long season, you really need at least a few weeks to a month to distress and reset yourself mentally. It mainly involved golfing and relaxing by the beach, two things that arguable will never get old. After those few weeks, Jordan decided that he needed to get himself back to the gym to work on a few of his weaknesses. He was really happy with his speed last season, but what he really wanted to focus on was his hands. Too many times last year, Jordan either dropped passes or they would tip off his hands and end up as an interception. Jordan was committed to making sure this wouldn't happen again, or at least much less than before. He sought out star wide receiver Carter Bush, who also plays for the Philadelphia Liberty, in an attempt to learn a few things from the veteran. While Bush is arguably the best receiver on the Liberty, he is much older, and eventually will have to hand to reigns over to Jordan. Hopefully it won't be before the Liberty win a championship, but we'll have to wait and see about that one.
