K.J. Becker is a giving man. He drives a 2003 Hyundai Elantra and doesn't believe in showing his money around. Thus, he is donating his extra cash to help kids in need. Many kids with life threatening illnesses need the funding in order to even turn certain machines on at the hospital. Becker visits local children hospital in the Philadelphia community all the time, but with his extra funds from his pay check he donates it to various wards in hospitals. This past season he donated his excess pay check funds to go towards a new play area for kids with mobility issues. Many of these kids have lost feeling in their lower body or can't move as their motor skills are not as sharp as others. Becker spends on average of about 4 days per month at the hospital playing, gift giving and even leading story time for the little ones. It's hard being a parent to kids in need, so Becker likes to volunteer his time taking a load off the parents once and a while. Becker is thinking about making this years salary go towards kids in the cancer ward to help with chemo and to alleviate some of the financial toll it takes on the families.
