(S12) - PT 2 - Not All on Training

When the Yeti drafted me I knew where my first few checks were going to go. A truck, a big truck, was to be my first purchase; my father needed a new one to make life easier on the farm. Something haul around cattle and pull trailers across the acres of farmland would make life easier. I also gave my parents the money from my signing and called it back rent; things were a little tough on their end and bills were piling up so I wanted to take some stress off their plates.

Now, I'm not an entirely altruistic person and I did put a nice payment down on a condo in Colorado. I am still driving my fathers old beat up truck but I did do some minor repairs to it to get it road worthy. Once my parents are all caught up I will look to buy own vehicle, maybe a nice SUV so I can save a little on fuel. The boys on the team go out for dinner a lot so I tag along a lot and it can add up. I know I should be saving but right now it is just fun to live the life of a professional football player.
