Relative to the rest of the ASFC and pretty much the rest of the league, the Arizona Outlaws are having their worst year since Fitzpatrick was a rookie. The Outlaws have won only 2 games thus far, one against the Yeti and one overtime win at home against the Hawks. Perhaps most embarrassing is that they have the distinction of being the only team the Yellowknife Wraiths have beaten. The Wraiths, by the way, have had 4 home games, yet only the Outlaws were bad enough to lose in that situation. The Outlaws are dead last in their conference, and have 0 conference wins, but have lost to all 3 conference opponents. Of course, one of the team’s biggest problems is their quarterback. Fitzpatrick has already thrown 9 interceptions after just 7 games. That’s as many interceptions as he threw in all 14 games combined last season. At this rate, he will throw more interceptions than both of his last two seasons combined, while also managing fewer yards and touchdowns than either of his last two seasons. Yeah, it pretty much sucks to be Fitzpatrick right now, or to be anyone else in Arizona whose success seems to be precluded by his shitty play.
