Dick Wizardry isn't upset by the team's relative lack of success. He knew what he was getting drafted into. Dick doesn't believe in shitty catchphrases like "the process" but he does understand that a successful team is a work in progress. On a personal level, the season is going well, which of course just makes him more determined to do better the 2nd half of the season. That's why he had a film room built in his house. He's there for at least an hour every day, watching himself in the previous games and trying to spot his tendencies the way he knows defensive coordinators and players are. He's got a list of notes next to him detailing some of what he's seen so he can talk about it with his coaches. This season isn't going to end with a playoff berth, he knows, but that just means what he's doing is getting ready for next season. He shoots a quick text to Ryan Applehort about the playaction motion on a particular play against the Otters because he knows his QB is probably also watching film at home. Dick did steal the design for his film room from Applehort's room after all. Dick continues working.
