San Jose is the best team in the league. I have no doubts about that. Yes they might have to the Outlaws, but sometimes upsets happen. San Jose has the best defense in the league by a mile in my opinion, led by the two offseason trade acquisitions in Chad and Thad Pennington. They have elevated the defense to the next level, and along with fellow trade acquisition Benson Bayley, really reinvented this team overnight. The team went from 1-13 and struggling to the next dynasty. Of course, a lot of this happens through great drafting and a fantastic locker room as well, but winning trades and utilizing your team to their full potential is a huge part of success in this league. If you can get your team to perform above their caliber you can see a lot of success in the league, and considering the youth of the team that is the San Jose Sabercats, no one should be surprised if this core wins 2, 3, even 4 Ultimus titles (possibly in a row) before they start to regress and see new talent take over. San Jose is built to last, especially considering they are an extremely young team that will only get better as time goes on. (210 words)
