If I were to position swap, I think I'd head to the wide receiver position. As a cornerback, I feel I have a pretty good grasp on what myself and my positional peers have trouble with when it comes to handling wideouts. Knowing how to make life difficult for a corner is something some receivers just never do.
Of course, sometimes it comes down to the intangibles. Neither myself, nor anyone else can practice how to be taller, or how to have better instincts, but where it counts most is where I feel I'd excel.
I've gotta say, though, one thing I like about defense is getting to do the hitting. I don't relish the opportunity to run a slant across the middle of the field. That's never seemed enticing, but then again, I don't see myself as a slot receiver either. Put me on a go route, or catch me while you're rolling out of the pocket. I want to do my own thing.
I missed the opportunity by a long shot, but if I could play with any quarterback it'd definitely be King Bronko. He's a hall of famer, no doubt about it. Sure Mike Boss is too, he's great, but I don't think id mesh as well with him. Never like the Otters.
